R&B singer Keyshia Cole and fiancé Daniel Gibson welcomed a new baby boy to the family late Tuesday night. Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. was born at 11:54 PM and weighed in at 7 lbs. 30 oz.Cole confirmed long-running rumors she was pregnant with the Cleveland Cavaliers player's baby in January, revealing the couple is also planning to wed after becoming engaged on New Year's Eve.
The delivery comes a month after Cole was admitted to a Cleveland hospital for a "false alarm," sparking rumors she had gone into labor early.
However, a spokesperson for the couple insists Cole had a healthy delivery, telling Usmagazine.com: "Both mother and baby are doing great."
"The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time. Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.
